Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. Quality lead for transition projects from contract review phase to First Article Inspection approval, Interim B with a plan for Interim A/Full. Works with quality entities and suppliers to identify and mitigate quality risk emphasizing product, AS13004, AS13006, PPAP and PWA 79345 requirements. The main objective of the TQE is to mitigate the risk of quality escapes to our customers through robust contract review verification and prevent hardware nonconformance with the utilization of process control requirements (AS13004 / AS13006 /PPAP / KPC) . Key Responsibilities: Quality lead for transition projects from contract review phase to First Article Inspection approval, Interim B with a plan for Interim A/Full. Quality focal point for suppliers with transitions hardware in the US, Europe and Asia Drive collaboration amongst the quality entities, to identify and mitigate quality risk Work with suppliers to ensure compliance to AS13004, AS13006, PPAP and PWA 79345 requirements. Lead contract review verification events at suppliers to ensure understanding of PW blueprint, QAD and RCC requirements and specifications Manage contract review gap assessment actions to ensure completion Works root cause and corrective action with suppliers for noncompliance and/or recurring product nonconformance Support global transitions project managers with key quality deliverables to meet project timelines Manage planning of contract review verification events with strategic sourcing, global transitions, quality stakeholders and CIPT. Responsible for approving and assessing quality risk at Gate C Providing training to suppliers on P&W quality system requirements Evaluate and monitor supplier root cause and corrective/preventative action activity; Review supplier compliance with applicable purchase orders / scheduling agreements, engineering drawings, specifications and procedures Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering, Technical, and Quality preferred) 5+ years in relevant Manufacturing, Engineering, or Quality position US Citizenship required due to government contracts Preferred Qualifications: Project Management and communications skills Green Belt Certified Experience with APQP and PPAP
