PEAK is looking for a Standard Cell Design Engineer for a client in San Diego, CA. This is a direct, full time position that requires onsite work. Responsibilities:
Develop state-of-the-art std cell library in most advanced technologies (N2, N3) which will be used in 5G mobile SOC, high performance computing and AI application.
Std cell circuit and architecture optimization for low power, high performance and area efficiency.
Design and technology co-optimization in advanced process technologies.
Evaluate new technology nodes and benchmark circuit performance.
Near threshold voltage circuit design.
Develop robust signoff methodology for low voltage std cell.
Custom circuit design.
Develop innovative circuit solutions to new problems.
Requirements:
Education: MSEE or PhD.
3-7 years digital or analog design experience.
Experience with Virtuoso and Hspice.
Experience with low-voltage, low-power design.
Experience in transistor level circuit design.
Familiar with variation analysis.
Experience in advanced technologies (N7 and below) preferred.
Familiarity with standard cell characterization and Liberty format preferred.
Perl, TCL, Python, and/or Shell scripting skills are a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
