Summary of Role: This position is for a Test Engineer who will work with designers and RF engineers to help design / develop and characterize complex RF circuits required for high frequency RF SOI or bulk technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing and testing novel RF circuits to evaluate technology process and model development. In addition, the candidate will contribute to improving the modeling lab’s software infrastructure. Essential Responsibilities Include: Basic understanding of RF measurements and RF circuits DC and RF device characterization Very good understanding of various RF circuits – PAs/ LNAs etc – circuit topology / layout as well as characterizing RF measurements such as S-parameters, IMD, Noise parameter, LoadPull etc Ability to work within a team and with modelers / designers spread across various time zones Work closely with equipment vendors Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Required Qualifications: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Physics plus 5 year experience in semiconductor characterization using RF tools for various measurements – S-param / noise/ loadpull Experience with RF circuit design Experience in C/C++, python, Smalltalk programming. Good analytical problem-solving skills.
