In this role, you will be working with the R&D team to create functional experiments to test upcoming and existing designs and oversee the implementation of development projects.Qualifications: MS or PhD in Engineering, Systems, Mechanical Engineering or related is required3+ years of New Product and/or R&D experience.5+ years of Engineering experience.Exceptional mathematical and mechanical skills, a talent for design, and experience with support systemsRotating equipment design and/or structural design experience is a plusHydraulic system design and/or component selection experience is a plusResponsibilities: Design of Experiment and Testing of compressor prototype products for functionality, ease-of-use, and longevity.Collaborates in the engineering and design of product prototypes.Collaborates with the engineering, product, and marketing department on product feasibility.Oversees new product/prototype manufacturing and resolving product issues.Prepares technical reports for potential product failures and recommending corrections, improvements, design changes.Creates product design projects and specification sheets.Reviews vendor and/or customer drawings for design standards and compatibility with equipment and process.
