The Senior Manufacturing Engineer works on the assembly processes of the company’s fixtures in Andover, MA. This position develops, maintains, and specifies manufacturing processes to manufacture the company’s touch-free product lines on an economical and efficient basis.Job Overview: Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as but not limited to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods/processes and routingsSupport shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting processes and/or quality problemsPrepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all types of equipmentRecommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processesAnalyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniquesAssist in the design of products to develop “Design for Manufacturing” parts and processesIdentify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operationsMaintain production equipmentPerform facilities maintenanceOther duties and responsibilities as requiredQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering field of study such as Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Technology5 or more years of industry-related experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, and assemblyExperience working with electronic assembliesStrong analytical abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAble to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendorsPreferred Qualifications: SAP, ProE, Microsoft Windows, AutoCADProduction equipment programming—-ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
