Description:JOB DESCRIPTION:

Resident Engineer working on NYC Parks Program called “Street Tree Planting” Or “Trees and Sidewalks” Street Tree pLna
Email from PM where to go
Observe contractors on site
Coordinate with PM to make sure enough people are there
Ensure safety
Work with Parks Department and contractors
Use spec book and understand contents
Ensure safety on site such as contractors wearing PPE
Record and track measurements for pay items (contractor gets paid based on amount of trees planted and excavation)
Traveling between 20-40 sites in a day (about 5-10 miles usually total) Mileage is reimbursed
