This position will be responsible to perform routine monitoring and continual improvement for incoming, production, and/or outgoing processes to ensure quality control is maintained.Responsibilities: Perform routine monitoring of incoming, production, and/or outgoing processes to ensure quality controlIdentify and report supplier and internal quality issuesLead Root Cause Investigations (RCIs) for supplier, internal, and/or customer quality issuesMonitor SPC charts and follow up on Out-of-Control Action Plans (OCAPs)Lead continual improvement projectsCoordinate change management activitiesPerform internal Quality audits and participate in external auditsPerform Gage R&R and process capability analysisMaintain and ensure proper control of documents and recordsSupport other miscellaneous activities as neededQualifications: Familiarity with ISO9001, IATF, or similar Quality Management SystemsAble to communicate effectively with internal engineering, quality, and production teams.Ability to work independently and remain self-motivatedAbility to safely lift and handle material samples over 25lbs on a regular basisComputer literate in Windows-based database programs and MS Office productsAuthorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorshipEducation: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; Engineering preferred3+ years of Quality Control experienceFormal problem-solving training highly preferred (i.e. Six Sigma, Red X)Auditing experience preferredBenefitsIn addition to your competitive salary, as an SK Siltron CSS employee, you are eligible to participate in our extraordinary benefits package which includes a generous PTO and holiday allowance, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans with no employee premium, and an exceptional 401k plan with auto enrollment and employer matching.
