Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity and is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate Process Engineer (Level 3) to support a multi-disciplined team. This position reports to the BGS core engineering practices and processes.

The candidate will be involved in the development and sustainment of design practices supporting multiple technical boards and processes across the BGS engineering value stream. This includes creating a suite of standardized and optimized processes. Supporting the investigation of technical issues/trends, identifying high drivers, process improvements, through the creation of data analytics, executive presentations, and supporting business related workshops. In this position, the individual will be collaborating with technical boards, chairs and business authors across BGS and the product support function to execute divisional and enterprise design practices efforts. Frequent interaction with Boeing technical fellows and engineering leadership – to resolve team “big rocks” or inquires is critical.

Position Responsibilities:
Support BGS Practices and Processes leader on core engineering initiatives.
Support Product Support Design Practices Deputy and Chair; on design practices related activities.
Support BGS core engineering leadership reviews, product support reviews, and other key reviews and working groups (initiatives and deliverables). Key support activities focused on standardization of processes/actions to drive resolution of repeat/recurrent issues.
The process engineer will collaborate/support efforts to facilitate process standardization, and performance monitoring for design practices. Ability to lead and support functional and business unit related workshops.
Collaboration with technical boards to ensure appropriate visibility of key process indicators. The ability to create formal documentation, and adequate performance metrics.
Produce reports and/or presentations that highlight upcoming design practices implementation development (Pathfinders).

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience within an engineering discipline such as (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, systems engineering ,and/or quality engineering functions), processes and requirements.
5+ years Project management experience
3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Currently have a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or higher
1+ years of experience in developing and managing metrics, RIOs, RCCA, and Lean
Experience with Program standards, policies and procedures
3+ years of program and/or platform facing experience in BCA, BDS or BGS.

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Hybrid/Telecommute:
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
