|Job Description :||Newark, CA Order: 213908 Order Type : Temporary We are looking for a Pen Testing Engineer in Newark, CA. Responsibilities: Use Logic Analyzer and tap into vehicle bus and intercept HW signals Use side channel and fault injection analysis to identify vulnerabilities and exploit the same Find a vulnerability in the host-based protection, such as within a programmable logic controller (PLC), embedded OS etc Exploit hardware related vulnerability to attack the system or others Requirements: Experience in verification of SoC designs Experience in hardware security (PCB, JTAG, UART, SPI, ROM, custom ASIC/FPGA) Knowledge of ARM chipset and firmware security (TPM, UEFI, TrustZone, Secure Boot, JTAG, PCIe) Experience working with side-channel attack vectors, and/or potential mitigations Qualifications Understand the underlying processes, hardware and embedded operating system (reconnaissance) Expert programming and debug skills in C/C++ Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL programming Proficient with Secure boot Proficient with GRUB, UEFI, U-Boot Proficient with Embedded rich OS and RTOS. Knowledge of firmware security, secure communications, TLS, and encryption/decryption Pay range $55-$71/hr depending on experience.
