What you will learn and contribute to As part of our team of experienced professionals, you will: Work with multi-disciplinary engineering staff to understand requirements and implementation of HW/FW/SW feature sets for optical designs and verify compliance at a system level. Plan and execute tests to verify compliance with data and telecom standards Plan and execute DWDM transmission tests, over supported Temperature ranges Operation and revision of test automation software Perform Extensive lab work, both in person and remotely Documentation of test results Your skills and experience You have: Bachelors or Masters degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science. Experience with optical transmission test equipment including Optical Spectrum Analyzers, Bit Error Rate test sets, optical power meters, and high speed scopes Familiarity with test automation software including Labview and Python Willing and eager to do hands-on lab work, and are Careful and thorough, with attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative with a flexible, positive, and creative attitude. Good communication, documentation, and collaboration skills. It would be nice if you also had: Experience and expertise in high speed optical transmission Knowledge of DWDM system architecture, design, and verification. Experience with DWDM system testing. Electrical circuit design and debugging skills. Experience with test automation software including Labview and Python.
