We have a culture of strengthening confidence, where ownership is encouraged, learning is supported, and ideas are empowered.You will be a valuable contributor for a unified organization, an industry leader with an innovation focus, and where being customer-centric means first investing in our people and culture.If you’re ready to Test Innovation and join the AEM family, apply today!JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performing mechanical engineering research, design and development on semiconductor capital equipment and systems.Participating in the conceptualization, modeling, analysis, development, documentation, and test/validation of hardware associated with new semiconductor equipment.Design data and calculation for DFMEA process – Design products using CAD and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible.Sequence study – work with control engineer to optimize the sequence flow through the design optimization.Work with suppliers to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives.Calculate cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors, incorporating costs of labor, material, delivery and overhead.Develops and present reports/presentations of excellent quality that communicate design intent, analysis, and validation at design reviews.Responsible for equipment specification and buyoff. Performs analytical work in order to characterize and properly specify new and existing designs, including heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid/gas dynamics and manufacturability.Design for manufacturing.Documentation – Prepare BOM, Operation Manual, Training Manual, etc.Other Duties: this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
