You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed and detail oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.The role for our client’s Manufacturing Engineering – New Product Introduction team is to complete process development for manufacturing engineering to set up new production lines.Provides engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function.Evaluates manufacturing outcomes and implements continuous improvements and cost efficiencies.Supports NPI and new equipment/process introductions.Job RequirementsPreferred Qualifications and Experience;Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills andability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Technical understanding of mechanical engineering drawing principles, including dimensioning methods, Theory and application of GD&T, types of datum systems, manufacturing and/or inspection jigs and fixtures, limits and fits, Surface roughness specification.Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally andexternally as required.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design.Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawingsFamiliarity with PPAP, control plans and validation is preferredExperience in an FDA regulated environment (preferably Medical Device) or regulated industry beneficial.High level of PC Skills required. (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project).Experience in manufacturing and final testing of medical device products very beneficial.Work experience preferably in a manufacturing or R&D engineering role – preferredFamiliarity with process and fixture development- preferredUnderstanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), related statistical tools and validation/verification techniques preferredFamiliarity with Promess servo press and Ingersoll Rand torque driver program developmentB.S in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering discipline with minimum 2 years’ work experience.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location |
