Doesn’t hurt that we pay well and have excellent benefits either….Position Summary: The Maintenance Reliability Manager is primarily responsible for, and has a proven track record in developing, implementing, and driving strategies that will improve overall condition of the facility through managing maintenance practices and processes to increase and sustain plant and processing equipment up-time and operational state. This broad primary responsibility may be divided into smaller areas of focus (including but not limited to) – Loss Elimination, Risk Management and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM). As well as identifying potential failures, this position is responsible for leading cross-functional problem-solving teams to reduce warranty claims and improve customer satisfaction within Plymouth Tube Company.Essential Responsibilities:Fosters a culture that does not tolerate equipment failures and seeks to understand and eliminate the causes using techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Build and maintain a strong working relationship with Leadership, Planners, Engineers, Operators, and Mechanics.Develops and controls the maintenance budget that provides for optimized spending to achieve the agreed upon capacity and asset reliability.Ensures standard reliability and maintenance work processes are followed. Implements and tracks maintenance KPIs.Analyzes operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics / KPIs.Develops and leads the reliability process to continuously improve equipment up-time and reduce related maintenance cost.Develops and executes maintenance strategies.Implements and details standard maintenance procedures on plant equipment.Manages reliability-related communications and best practice sharing.Periodically benchmarks current performance with internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement. Enforces management of change processes.Ensures the reliability strategy is properly executed. Implements organizational structure, systems, tools and technologies that promote a proactive approach to maintenance.Develops, recommends, and implements strategies for improving the reliability of the manufacturing processes.Develop and maintain plant preventative maintenance program.Document corrective action on preventive maintenance performed.Support the overall life cycle cost of the asset to meet business strategies by advising on yearly budgets (including CAPEX, Maintenance routine Expenditure and Major Mechanical) based upon knowledge of the inspection, unit reliability plans, and the PM requirements.Responsible for analyzing data and providing input and context to operational and maintenance activities.Core Responsibilities: Responds to all customers with urgency and professionalism.Own and role model Plymouth Tube values and behaviors by embracing and participating in an operating culture that promotes involvement, communication, mutual trust & respect, expectations and accountability, and a passion for excellence.Understands, applies, and advocates all Company Environmental and Safety policies, procedures, and standards.Understands, applies, and advocates all Company Quality Standards.Attends are prerequisite training as required by management.Has authority to stop process to correct quality, safety or environmental problems, identify and place suspect product on quality hold, and to promptly notify Supervisory personnel when processes are non-compliantQualifications and Educational Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline highly preferred with a minimum of 15 years reliability and/or maintenance experience and 5 plus years in a leadership role required.Maintenance and/or engineering management in a manufacturing, or equivalent operation.Reliability program development and/or OEE program development and management.Demonstrated people leadership experience and skills.Solid project management, manufacturing processes, utilities, facilities construction.Technology and Equipment: To perform this job successfully, the following technical skills are preferred:Ability to read blueprints and AutoCad/Solidworks drawingsWindows operating systemsMicrosoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Smart Ware Maintenance Group (Bigfoot)Familiarity with statistical analysis software (eg., Minitab)Other Knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred: Deep knowledge of industrial plant equipment and maintenance practices including rotating, fixed mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.Knowledge and understanding of predictive technologies – Vibration Analysis, InfraRed, Oil Analysis, Motor Current Analysis, and Ultrasonics.Knowledge of maintenance repair techniques such as alignments, welding, rigging, and related inspection methods.
