In the Maintenance Manager role, you will lead a tight knit maintenance team in the maintaining, repairing, and launching of new assets for the facility. Utilizing your knowledge of production equipment and machinery you will ensure that the team is providing the highest level of machine maintenance and repair while ensuring Safety, Food Safety, and maintenance best practices are followed.What you will doEnsure plant equipment is maintained in a safe and optimal operating conditionAssisting in the planning of projects with the team in the design, development, and installation of new equipment and existing equipmentEnsure that the maintenance team supports both preventative and predictive maintenance programs through analysis, planning and productivityDrive maintenance team to urgently address unplanned machine repair needs with a high degree of quality and workmanshipDevelops, recommends, implements, and executes procedures for maintenance as requiredMaintain a continuous improvement mindset utilizing data analysis and feedback to develop corrective actionAbility to work cooperatively with all departments and all levels of employeesDevelopment of relationships with outside vendors and contractors which would assist in the successful completion of machine outagesManages expenditures consistent with budget and business plans.Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.What you have to offer4-year degree in Engineering or equivalent experience combined with mechanical and/or electrical certificationsExperience in a manufacturing setting with operations supervision or management experienceFamiliarity with working on flexographic presses or other production equipment preferredAbility to build strategic relationships with key stakeholdersProven technical mastery in maintenance systems, programs, and budgeting practicesExperience participating in lean manufacturing events and managing lean projects preferredExperience implementing best in class maintenance programs and strategies (TPM, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance)Experience in a union environment preferredWhat we have to offerOpportunity to be part of a dynamic and highly motivating work environment where you can develop your potential and launch an exciting career;Development opportunities where your input makes a difference.
