A Quality Engineer job is currently available for Belcan working at customer facility in Phoenix AZ. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least 1 year of experience within the quality engineering field and the minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (internships will be considered).
You will be performing various tasks within both shop and office settings. Candidates should be well versed in using Quality tools, ISO 9001 & AS9100 quality practices, creation of standard work and root cause/corrective actions (RCCA).
Quality Engineer job duties:
Using quality tools to identify Root Cause and Corrective Action
Assist team in tracking, documenting, and dispositioning non-conforming hardware using various quality tools.
Engineering drawing review and approvals
Review of FAI (first article inspection) reports and validity of part conformance
Determine and help implement corrective action and mistake proofing
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (minimum)
One through Five years of quality engineering experience within the aerospace industry
Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 quality requirements
Knowledge of manufacturing practices
Knowledge of blueprints and supporting specifications
Familiarity with variety of quality tools
Legal authorization to work in the US required: Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship
Desired but not required skills:
SAP knowledge
Lean Six Sigma experience
