Job Description : Summary AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking an Environmental Manager with prior management experience in this field to oversee the day-to-day activities, implementation, and administration of environmental programs at our manufacturing sites in Cambridge and Zanesville, Ohio. AMG V is a Treatment, Storage and Disposal facility for spent refinery catalyst (K-listed waste) and a Large Quantity Generator Title V Permitted facility. The Environmental Manager works with Operations to ensure compliance with all permits and regulations. Responsibilities and Duties Lead the execution of the site’s environmental programs. Develop and enforce site environmental policies and procedures. Oversee activities of team members to maintain environmental management system. Lead by example and comply with all AMG V safety and environmental requirements, policies, and procedures, including AMG’s Code of Business Conduct. Embrace and promote the AMG V culture in all day-to-day activities; foster and promote a positive, respectful work environment that is aligned with AMG’s values. Assist with the ongoing environmental plan development and make recommendations for improvement of existing strategies. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local Environmental Permit requirements and Company standards. Conduct, and ensure that team members conduct, regular environmental audits and inspections. Responsible for environmental communication and reporting; ensure compliance and timely submission of federal, state and local reporting requirements. Interact with regulatory agencies as required to maintain compliance with all applicable standards ISO 45001 program administration and maintenance. Responsible for leadership and oversight of environmental compliance training. Ensure and support the timely completion of environmental incident investigations, driving to root cause and corrective action implementation. Oversee pollution control programs and develop waste treatment and recycling procedures. Perform environmental research as required and prepare research reports for management. Develop budget and timelines for environmental operations and develop cost reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality. Lead sustainability initiatives, opportunities, and requirements for the site. Interact with environmental legal counsel and corporate environmental leadership as required. Drive compliance with emergency response protocol; train and execute drills/exercises on responsible management of emergency situations. Stay current with environmental trends and legislations. Promote and enforce safe work practices at the site and assist in developing a culture of safety with employee engagement as a core pillar. Qualifications/Skills/Requirements BS degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering preferred; chemistry, physics or similar technical degree may be acceptable 10 years of environmental management experience in industrial setting RCRA, and/or Title V Air Permit experience; preferably for a Large Quantity Generator Knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards, ANSI, NEC, NFPA ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 knowledge and experience Knowledge of applicable state, federal and international environmental laws, ordinances, statutes, and regulations Skilled in handling and prioritizing multiple projects; preparing and· maintaining accurate records, reports, and files Ability to understand technical processes Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills Strong coaching skills Strong leadership skills; ability to hold supervisors and production employees accountable for environmental compliance Data analysis skills Problem solving and root cause analysis skills Project management skills Regular engagement with front line employees and operations; ability to work flexible schedule as needed Good follow through skills, as well as heightened attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office AMG Vanadium LLC offers a competitive wage and benefit package and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
