Job Description *This is a 3rd Shift position Tues-Sat 10pm-6:30am* POSITION SUMMARY The position will apply equipment and process understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing which includes operational efficiencies, process design, specifications, vendor management, qualification, safety and asset lifecycle management. Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written) and demonstrated skills leading and working with teams to deliver projects. ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.Responsible for multiple small projects deliveries according to the site capital plan including new equipment, upgrades to existing equipment, facility modifications, and utility infrastructure. Focus will be on managing Building Automation System upgrades of controls vendor, Siemens Automation. Will prepare user requirements, basis of design, safety assessments, specifications, and design qualifications of individual equipment and components.Support new equipment acquisition and be responsible for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of process equipment and manufacturing systems. Preparation and execution of commissioning, qualification, and validation protocols for equipment, mechanical, computer control, and utility systems.Provides ongoing support to maintenance staff to solve complex problems, understand and coach failure modes, and prepare technical solutions on facility controls equipment.Will be the technical expert on critical systems such as Building Automation Systems for critical environments. Will manage BAS system and serve as the system administrator for the site.Expected to review and manage the reliability of utility equipment including the preventive maintenance program, break downs, and corrective actions. Will recommend spare part inventories and perform failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) for equipment and process.Will recommend and manage improvement projects and prepare scope documentation and financial cost/benefit proposals. Will, as assigned, manage improvement projects from conception to completion.Will implement safe work practices and process controls to ensure a safe operation of equipment and facility. May include job hazard analysis, failure fault trees, and risk assessments to drive a preventable injury work place and continuously safe process.Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. Education/Certification/Experience: ABET accredited Associates of Science Mechanical or Electrical Engineering TechnologySmall project management or pharmaceutical manufacturing.Siemens Building Automation Controls (Apogee, Insight, and InfoCenter)Voltec and Arcnet not required, but each a strong plus Function Engineering Sub Function Equipment Maintenance Technical Specialty Reports To In process of validation Already Working @TEVA?
