You will evaluate new semiconductor designs for reliability and failure mode probabilities and create quantitative failure rate models for various semiconductor devices including useful life.Requirements: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree or commeasurable years of experience.Experience in semiconductor design for analog, digital, or mixed mode circuitsKnowledge of semiconductor design and production processesKnowledge of semiconductor failure modes and mitigation techniquesStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to explain and teach technical conceptsAble to work independently and collaborate with a teamKnowledge of Functional Safety standardsCFSE or CFSP certification is a plus, not requiredResponsibilities: Audit and assess the semiconductor design processes per functional safety standards and industry practiceEvaluate new semiconductor designs for reliability and failure mode probabilitiesCreate quantitative failure rate models for various semiconductor devices including useful lifePerform Hardware FMEA and Dependent Failure AnalysisPerform Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostic AnalysisDevelop detailed safety cases for products to show compliance with functional safety standardsInterpret standards requirements and document procedures for assessmentConduct training in good development processes and Functional Safety requirementsSupport business development efforts and communicate with clientsWrite articles and blogs for our websiteRepresent and promote our brand at industry meetings, conferences and/or participating in industry committeesAchieve the requirements and primary accountabilities by: Initiating new, creative ideas.Having a willingness to be flexible – adapting to new pathsStrong problem solving / troubleshooting practicesBeing a team player and working cross-functionally.Managing resources and relationships – internally and externallyConsistently evaluating processes – recommending changes when appropriate.Communicating throughout organization.Looking forward to getting to know you…Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Work from home, hybrid schedule available.
