The focus of this group is to provide technical services to accelerator operations, experimental Halls and other lab initiatives. Electrical systems under the I&C group domain include diagnostic hardware to detect electron beam profile, current and position. Electronic systems in vacuum technology and beam viewers are also utilized. The incumbent will assist senior staff in the implementation, maintenance and repair of instrumentation and control systems using analog and digital electronics. Duties for this position include printed circuit board testing and repair, soldering, chassis wiring and field cable fabrication and installation.
