Your focus will be to ensure HIGH-QUALITY and that all controls equipment is designed, built, and programed to customers’ specifications using proven engineering best practices while meeting, exceeding industry standards. The Controls Engineering will collaborate with other core department leaders to develop strategic initiatives and drive departmental objectives to support these initiatives. They must possess a working knowledge of process development, machine design, and control systems to oversee the high-level development of custom equipment.Responsibilities: Programming control systemsDirect experience with Allen Bradley, or Siemen’s productsScada, Control LogicMotion controls, motion sensors exposure, a plusProvide customer technical supportAbility to read blueprints, schematicsStartup and commissioning of projectsEager and able to learn new technologiesDesign and layout experience using AutoCAD ElectricalAbility to critically review equipment designs and manage risksPromote adherence to good engineering practices throughout Engineering department.Maintain all standard operating procedures.Demonstrate integrity and always adhere to the company’s code of conduct and business ethics standards.Regularly review all project and company metrics including, but not limited to, overtime utilization, daily labor reports, profit and loss statements, key performance indicators, project, and company financial reports.Collaborate with Leadership team, as needed to implement companywide improvements and initiatives.Work closely with Sales and Project Management on product requirements and development of cost models for quotation purposes, review quotations from others in the Engineering department.Maintain and improve electrical manufacturing documentationRepresent the company with customers, including speaking technically on a variety of projects and systems.Work in close conjunction with the Engineering Manager to further department and company initiatives and ensure that the Engineering department always runs smoothly in all aspects.Knowledge, Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a custom a design environmentProven ability to work across departments to support corporate strategies.Proven ability to lead the engineer process from concept through completion including design/build of custom pieces and integration of OEM equipment.Self-starter who is well-organized, detail-oriented, creative and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.Proficiency with written and oral communicationAbility to develop strong professional relationships with vendors and customers across a wide spectrum of industry.Strong time management skills; Must be able to handle multiple projectsMinimal travel to customer sites- 3-5% travel requirementsRockwell Software – Studio 5000Rockwell Software – RSLogix 500Rockwell Software – Factory talk MERockwell Software – Factory talk SEAutoCAD ElectricalProficiency in Microsoft OfficePLC and HMI programming skills.Control panel designExp. in project management and/or supervisory roleElectrical panel fabrication experience, a plusExposure to MRP/ERP software, preferred, not requiredAchieve the requirements and primary accountabilities by: Able to manage multiple projects.Initiating new, creative ideas.Having a willingness to be flexible – adapting to new pathsStrong problem solving / troubleshooting practicesBeing a team player and working cross-functionally.Managing resources and relationships – internally and externally.Consistently evaluating processes – recommending changes when appropriate.Communicating throughout organization.What we offer: Flexible work environment, ability to work fully remote parachuting into our Bucks County HQ’s or local, regional client sites as neededTo be a part of a well-established team that values hard work, innovation & knows the value of its people.Competitive compensationAdvancement opportunitiesBonus plan401K benefitsPaid holidays & vacationsHealth BenefitsWe have continuous training, and are firm believers that a strong, knowledgeable, well-trained staff is the reason we are at the top of our field, having continued success year after year.Looking forward getting to know you…*Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):What is your desired compensation range for this position?How long would your commute time be to Jamison, PA?Experience:Rockwell Software: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
