Insight Global is seeking an Advanced Analog Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. Our client is a worldwide leader in the development of momentum control products for satellites that enable cell phone, global positioning, and satellite earth imagery. Key Responsibilities
You will work with a team of highly experienced industry experts in the design and support of hardware for space application, supporting ongoing production and new business activities related to our Momentum Controls Systems product lines.The position involves design, modification, and test of analog, digital, and power electronic circuits and authoring of related technical documentationYou will provide written reports and oral presentations to program or engineering management and customers to explain technical approaches and project status.Your assignments will allow for a significant amount of autonomy and innovation.You will have the opportunity to work with other organizations and individuals at all levels in a dynamic and exciting environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience
Must have a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering
-Must have strong experience with a minimum of two out of the following: Analog Circuit Design, WCCA – Worst Case Circuit Analysis, Motor Controller, P Spice, MATLAB, Hybrid Electronics, or EMI – Electro Magnetic Interference
Fluent in Microsoft Office tools, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
Aerospace/Spacecraft hardware experience including Momentum devices.
Due to program requirements, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. Dual citizenship is not allowed.
Must be currently located within the greater Phoenix, AZ area OR must be willing to relocate here. This role requires candidates to be onsite at the Phoenix facility.
DESIRED SKILLSExperience with power supplies, motor drives, feedback control loops, and embedded digital controls is a plus |
